Celtic Spiral

Name: Celtic Spiral Applique Quilt on display at the Durham Quilters' Show

Description:

The fabrics for this quilt were purchased by Maureen Wood in 2007 when she first visited the the NEC which was after she had seen some patterns in Philomena Durcan's book Celtic Spirals. Work started on the applique blocks in March 2008. Leftover applique block material was used for the sashing, and the final border fabric was purchased from The Tabbycat. The quilt is also reversible.

This was completed in time to be shown at the first quilt show of Durham Quilters in November.
