There is no longer a quilting fabric shop in London, and Joseph Albers or his wife Annie and their protegees would never let the colours go wrong!

When I need an expert eye in situ to help me select the perfect blend of colours, I contact The Tabby Cat. In this case we elected to select these three greens.

For the centre we decided that the burnt orange worked better than daffodil yellow.

Of course the burnt orange makes a statement, but so did red in traditional Amish (Pennsylvania Dutch) quilts. Red was, of course another option.
