Rhiannon's Quilt

Description by Stella who encouraged Rhiannon to make this quilt:
Rhiannon is 16yrs old and although she has sewn bits and pieces in the past this is her 1st quilt. It is, for the moment, simply called "Rhiannon's quilt" until the baby for whom it was made is born then the name will change. I hope you agree she made a brilliant job of it, she chose the fabric herself from Wendy's lovely fabrics and wanted something a bit different from the normal baby fabrics and to make a quilt that he/she will be happy to grow with, this I think was achieved. Hopefully this won't be Rhiannon's last quilt but the first of many.

Rhiannon should be very proud of this eye-catching quilt and I am sure it will be treasured for a long time by the new baby - boy or girl. I hope this will encourage Rhiannon to continue with and enjoy patchwork and quilting in the future.
