Name: Lilac and yellow bag made with 'Shrink'

The way the fabric is shaped into a 3D effect creates a lovely blend of colour from this floral design. Jo made this bag for a friend using 'Shrink' fabric on the underside of the 'sandwich' to easily achieve a puffed up quilted look. In fact it is just the front panel of the bag made in this way but a whole bag could be made using this method. This is very easy to stitch as it is flat until you steam the 'Shrink' with an iron. The way the fabric is shaped into a 3D effect creates a lovely blend of colour from this floral design.

Jo's comment was "It is magic - what fun to see it bubble up. I found an all-over fabric design gives a good effect when shrunk."
