I love making One Block Wonder quilts, this was the first I did with hollow cubes, I love the depth they give - the reds and oranges are so vibrant they seem to glow, hence the name. The free motion border is done in 3 colours - lemon, orange and red too.

On impulse I entered it in a small online competition in the US and was absolutely thrilled to win. My prize was a lovely collage book which is giving me even more ideas!
