I love butterfly fabrics ... this on-point quilt was the first I free motion quilted. There are quilted flowers on the blocks and in the border and butterflies around the edge of the block settings. The appliqued red butterfly on the left hand middle block was to cover a small repair I had to make when I sat down by the machine on the edge of the quilt which was still under the needle! Disaster averted ... and I put the label over the tiny area on the back after repair.
